Stephen Brown is a gentleman of no particular consequence or merit, slowly working towards the grave. Originally trained as a professional accountant, then as a professional HR manager, he has served on the board of multinational and national companies, and some of the largest charities in the country. Lately he has been elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of Scotland and has written several books on local history. Previously he has written an international bestseller of internet gaming, and composed the popular “21st Century Desiderata”. He lives in West Kilbride with his wife Catherine, and four children. A modern day polymath, his interests are many, accomplishments too few.
